We are dedicated to extending lives & giving hope to those that are less fortunate around the world
THE MISSION
Flip Flops For Families exists to provide flip-flops for those who are barefoot around the world. Our passion is to ensure the children and their families get proper foot wear to help prevent the spread of disease, death, and family destruction. Our mission is to help these children and families learn about the issues in their area, provide medical attention, proper education, trade skills to promote jobs, and education about personal hygiene and sexually transmitted diseases.
We want to build relationships and work closely with our partners in the community so that we can touch as many lives as possible.
There is approximately 6 billion people on the planet and 4 billion of these people live in poor conditions.
Since the time they are born, walking is their number one way of transportation and walking barefoot in dirt and in undeveloped areas can lead to serious injuries, that lead to disease, and possibly death.
Who we help
We help the less fortunate that can't afford to place shoes on their feet. We help place flip flops on everyone and in any place from kids in foster homes & in orphanages, to the homeless, and to people that reside in the many 3rd world countries around the world.
Put your self in their shoes, or shall we say bare feet. Follow them as they play in contaminated soil mixed with feces, blood, & trash. Now they get a parasite or a blood born pathogen and don't have the resources to heal properly.
Now, make a decision to help break this cycle. We know that it takes a multitude of things to make a difference, and even though we will not see a global change tomorrow - we will give children and families around the world the opportunity to live another day and plan for their future.
